Iphigenia Romanos - Overseeing Private School Curriculum and Budget
Since 2005, Iphigenia Romanos has served as CEO and Head of School of Adelphi Academy of Brooklyn. She is the director of admissions and the special needs program, and manages a full range of educational and business functions. Among these are budgetary and financial matters, curriculum design, compliance, hiring, and firing. Iphigenia Romanos received recognition from the City Councilman's Office in 2023 for 10 years of service in her position.
Ms. Romanos has extensive knowledge of special education law and advocacy. A business administration graduate of Bernard Baruch College with an emphasis on marketing, she earned an MS in childhood education from Brooklyn College and a Post Masters Advanced certificate in Educational leadership. Currently working toward her Doctorate, Ms. Romanos is active with the Association of Curriculum & Development and the National Association of Secondary School Principals.
Iphigenia Romanos is also a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the professional organization of educators, and active with the Baruch College Alumni Association. She enjoys event planning and holiday decorating, and excels at interior design.
